The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently declared coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) a public health emergency of international concern. Impact of the pandemic of covid-19 on the mental health of health care workers and general population would be affected.
Description: Hamilton depression scale:The total score is obtained by summing the score of each item, 0-4 (symptom is absent, mild, moderate, or severe). For the 17-item version, scores can range from 0 to 54.Where total scores between 0 and 7 do not indicate the presence of depression, scores between 8 and 13 indicate mild depression, scores between 14 and 18 indicate moderate depression, scores between 19 and 22 indicate severe depression and 23 score or more indicate very severe depression.
Measure: Depression Time: 2 monthsDescription: Hamilton anxiety scale:The scale consists of 14 items, each defined by a series of symptoms, and measures both psychic anxiety (mental agitation and psychological distress) and somatic anxiety (physical complaints related to anxiety). Each item is scored on a scale of 0 (not present) to 4 (severe), with a total score range of 0-56, where total score 0 -13=normal, 14-17 = mild anxiety, 18-24 = moderate anxiety, 25-30 = severe anxiety.
Measure: Anxiety Time: 2 monthsDescription: Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (OCD): Each item is rated from 0 (no symptoms) to 4 (extreme symptoms). A score of 0-7 is considered nonclinical. Scores ranging between 8 and 15 are considered mild. Scores between 16 and 23 are considered moderate and scores between 24-31 and 32-40 are considered severe and extreme, respectively.
Measure: Obsessive compulsive disorder Time: 2 monthsThe project US3R is a general population survey that will measure the magnitude of utilised, postponed and foregone medical care in relation with other health care needs than coronavirus symptoms during the confinement period in Belgium. The study aims to describe the magnitude of unsatisfied health care needs for various types of care. It will also identify the reasons for these postponed and foregone care according to gender, health and socioeconomic status.
Description: Number of person reporting that they used health care during confinement (yes/no)
Measure: Health care use Time: throughout the whole study, assessed up to 18 monthsDescription: Self-reported postponed health care use (yes/no)
Measure: Postponed heath care use Time: throughout the whole study, assessed up to 18 monthsDescription: Self-reported foregone health care use (yes/no)
Measure: Foregone health care use Time: throughout the whole study, assessed up to 18 monthsThe coronavirus outbreak is a stressful event for the whole population. Confinement measures are protective against the risk of dissemination of the virus, but they can also lead to several psychological symptoms. In children, a study in China has reported about 20% of depressive or anxious troubles in school-age children after a 4-week period of confinement. In France, confinement lasted about 8 weeks. School resumed on May 11th for primary school children and on June 2nd for secondary school children. In this survey, we aim at exploring the psychological status of these children and the impact on their schooling, for better understanding, support and prevention. Through this online questionnaire, we also aim at giving some psycho-education advices. Finally, we could identify some subgroups of children particularly vulnerable, and organise some specific support for them in coming months.
Description: We plan to assess the psychological status of children during coronavirus outbreak : negative and positive feeling during confinement, worries and expectations about school resumption. We also aim at correlating high stress levels with environmental or/and temperamental factors.
Measure: Proportion of children presenting signs of psychological suffering during confinement. Time: We plan to address a first online questionnaire in June 2020 (school resumption after confinement), and a follow-up questionnaire 3 months later, in September 2020.In France, one couple in eight encounters difficulties to conceive. The diagnosis of infertility frequently leads to symptoms of anxiety and depression. These symptoms appear to be higher than in the general population. Some recent studies have looked at the relationship between anxiety and depression in ART cares. Results are controversial, but it appears that patients with lower levels of anxiety and depression have higher pregnancy rates. Moreover, in couple, women seem to have more symptoms of anxiety and depression than men. First epidemiological studies related to the COVID 19 pandemic have shown strong psychological impact on the general population with an anxiety rate estimated at more than 30%. With COVID 19 pandemic and cessation of ART, it is highly likely that psychic symptoms of anxiety or even depression may have appeared or worsened in women undergoing infertility treatment.
Description: Perceived Stress Scale 10 assess stress in 10 questions with score from 0 to 40. The higher the score is, the more important the stress level is.
Measure: Psychological impact assessed by scores of PSS10 scales. Time: 15 minutesDescription: depression Scale with 14 questions. It assesses separately anxiety (score from 0 to 21) and depression (score from 0 to 21).The higher the score is, the more important the anxiety level is.
Measure: Psychological impact assessed by scores of HADS scales. Time: 15 minutesAlphabetical listing of all HPO terms. Navigate: Correlations Clinical Trials
Data processed on September 26, 2020.
An HTML report was created for each of the unique drugs, MeSH, and HPO terms associated with COVID-19 clinical trials. Each report contains a list of either the drug, the MeSH terms, or the HPO terms. All of the terms in a category are displayed on the left-hand side of the report to enable easy navigation, and the reports contain a list of correlated drugs, MeSH, and HPO terms. Further, all reports contain the details of the clinical trials in which the term is referenced. Every clinical trial report shows the mapped HPO and MeSH terms, which are also hyperlinked. Related HPO terms, with their associated genes, protein mutations, and SNPs are also referenced in the report.
