There is one clinical trial.
This study aims at answering the question if aerosols from laparoscopic or open abdominal surgery contain SARS-CoV-2 virus and need to be considered contagious.
Description: The primary outcome will be SARS-COV-2 RNA detection in filter systems for surgical aerosols in laparoscopic surgery (YES/NO). If viral RNA can be detected, the aerosols should be considered contagious, and therefore the debate on protective measures for the surgical staff in case of emergency surgery and possibly delaying any urgent surgery to protect surgical teams would be reasonable. If viral RNA cannot be detected, the aerosols do not need to be considered contagious for SARS-CoV-2, and CoVID-19 patients could safely be considered for laparoscopic and open abdominal surgery if indicated.

An HTML report was created for each of the unique drugs, MeSH, and HPO terms associated with COVID-19 clinical trials. Each report contains a list of either the drug, the MeSH terms, or the HPO terms. All of the terms in a category are displayed on the left-hand side of the report to enable easy navigation, and the reports contain a list of correlated drugs, MeSH, and HPO terms. Further, all reports contain the details of the clinical trials in which the term is referenced. Every clinical trial report shows the mapped HPO and MeSH terms, which are also hyperlinked. Related HPO terms, with their associated genes, protein mutations, and SNPs are also referenced in the report.
